PRINCIPAL FUNCTION (JOB SUMMARY)
 
The Laboratory Junior Chemist 1 is responsible the operation of the laboratory.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Responsible for:
His / her responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and the environment.
• Ensure that laboratory is kept clean and tidy
• In case of  any incident report immediately to responsible person
• Able to carry out majority of methods but require supervision during the analysis.
• Awareness of the method
• Reviewed and Understand Risk Assessment
• Reviewed and understood MSDS and COSHH Assessments
• Use the correct PPE
• Safe use of equipment
• Can undertake sample Preparation

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A       Education: University graduate.
B       Professional Qualifications: Chemistry Degree                                                                               
C       Experience: Previous experience in chemical analytical laboratory is preferable.
