Position title:  Electrical Technician 

Location: Garadagh district, Salyan highway 17

Electrical Technician is required to service and maintain Frank’s CAM Computers, FA/1, Torque Gauges, loadcells and EPU. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service CAM Units on return from offshore, and prepare for load-out to offshore assignments.
• Calibrating and repair of Torque Gauges, Loadcells, Torque Subs, Electric HPU’s and Wi-Fi Systems.
• Conversion and maintenance of F.I.C.S.
• Retrieval and printing of data from jobs returning from offshore.
• Tracking and maintenance of CAM equipment certification.
• Reviewing and evaluating completed job files for returning from offshore.
• Responsible for keeping up to date with all new developments in CAM equipment/applications.
• Ensure all CAM department equipment and containers are certified.
• Responsible for physical checks on equipment load-outs and returns for verification against paperwork.  Forward all required documents on to Operations Department for correct filing/record maintenance.
• Drive forklift, pick-up truck and workshop cranes as required.
• Assist CAM/Electrical Operations Supervisor with electrical systems within the base.
• Set up and running of the computers used in the test bay.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and free of obstructions – good housekeeping.
• Report and unsafe or unsatisfactory plant/systems of work to Operations Supervisor & QHSE Manager, as required.
• Implement quality, health and safety policies during all operational activities.  Suggesting improvements as you see fit to Workshop Supervisor.
• Responsible for health and safety of all personnel in the workshop and for the protection of the environment.
• Liaise with CAM Lab Supervisor / Workshop Supervisor on all developments/incidents as required.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience

• Bachelor Degree (Technical)
• Have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience (oil and gas field)
• Strong communication skills
• Available to work to tight deadlines and twenty four hour call
• Pro-active, “can do” attitude and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Able to seek continuous improvement in all aspects of the role and responsibilities
• Medically fit to perform the role 
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani Language
