Position title:  Workshop Technician

Location: Garadagh district, Salyan highway 17

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical input for all technical aspects of the onshore marine terminal offshore works, working collaboratively with other members of the Project.
Responsible for high quality technical solutions for offshore scopes.
Responsible for quality performance. Ensure good definition and management of interfaces.
Liaise with Operations manager, Senior Mechanical Supervisor and Logistics Supervisor and Workshop Technicians on a daily basis.
Ensure all equipment is serviced, dressed correctly and function tested as requirement.
Ensure all service/maintenance sheets are correctly filled out as per Frank’s procedures.
Supervise and help with rigging up and down of power tongs, power units, stabbing boards, and tubular handling equipment.
Visually inspect equipment before, during, and after jobs to ensure field readiness and safe operation of equipment.
Conduct safety meetings with crew.
Know and understand Frank’s International’s Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Frank’s International.
Work assignments must be carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
 
• Have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience (oil and gas field)
• Strong communication skills
• Available to work to tight deadlines and twenty four hour call
• Pro-active, “can do” attitude and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Able to seek continuous improvement in all aspects of the role and responsibilities
• Medically fit to perform the role 
• Good English knowledge
