HVAC Engineer
Minimum 5 years of experience in this field is required, at least 2 of them must be on BP projects.
Knowledge of English must be of a high level.
Duties:
1. Management and analysis of performance monitoring data.
2. Review maintenance history reports and make recommendations for improvement.
3. Manage equipment performance, reliability and availability
4. Driving a continuous improvement program of maintenance optimization as per operations excellence requirements.
5. Perform quarterly performance review with COMPANY this process is to identify any areas for improvement and an action plan to implement the improvement.
6. Technical support within the CONTRACTOR organization to manage and resolve technical queries and issues within the scope of services, and resolve performance.
7. Design of modifications to existing HVAC system to ensure that original design performance is either maintained or improved.
8. Review and simplification of the Operations and Maintenance inspection and maintenance program work orders to optimize the contract costs.
9. Innovation improvements to HVAC systems to optimize full life cycle costs.
10. Development of obsolescence strategy to ensure that maximum possible availability of HVAC systems for the life of systems.
11. Provide the high level support and input for any complicated MOC’s that are required to be completed.
12. Approval of any new procedures/practices that are developed by the field based engineers / technicians.
13. Conduct investigation and root cause analysis of breakdowns and incidents across the Business Unit.
14. Analysis of maintenance data to determine any changes required in maintenance strategy or chronic problems that are developing – i.e. fixing the same item of equipment several times but not solving the problem that is causing the failures.
