A young and dynamic hotel management company in Azerbaijan managing a world-class portfolio of hotels and resorts ABSHERON Hotel Group is looking for Cluster Revenue Director for its Hotel Units.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Knowledge of technical and managerial applications of all software systems related to revenue management
2. Knowledge of total hotel revenue management concepts as well as Operations and Sales
3. Ability to interpret market data and apply to sales strategy
4. Knowledge of group and catering segment strategy, pricing processes and tools
5. Ability to develop, communicate and monitor successful sales strategies
6. Financial management skills e.g., ability to analyze P&L statements, develop operating budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure planning
7. Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing) including customer and associate relation skills
8. Effective decision making skills with ability to influence others
9. Effective coaching and development skills supported by good training/facilitator skills
10. Strong organization and strategic planning skills with analytical and negotiation abilities
11. Ability to evaluate business trends and modify business strategies accordingly
12. Ability to execute against the strategy; drive results , problem-solving and consensus building skills
13. Effective conflict  and  change management skills
14. Ability to develop and maintain relationships e.g., colleagues, customers, vendors

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

1. Provides market strategy expertise and leadership to General Managers, property leadership teams and market sales leaders
2. Understands and accurately represents individual property sales needs
3. Assist in developing Business Outlook Strategy
4. Establishes and maintains effective and rational pricing strategies for all revenue generating streams
5. Assist properties with  annual pricing process for transient and groups
6. Evaluates effectiveness of property participation in electronic sales channels
7. Assist in analyzing competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality, mix and displacement
8. Ensures hotel strategies conform to brand philosophies and initiatives; ensures brand systems are used to manage inventory, demand and pricing
9. Ensures that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate
10. Prepares weekly revenue strategy meeting agenda, and supporting documentation to properties
11. Proactively manages inventory to maximize revenue
12. Assists with account diagnostics process and validates conclusions
13. Provides targeted and timely communication of results, achievements and challenges to the stakeholders
14. Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue management processes
15. Accurately prepares and participates in the weekly and long range forecasts

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

1. Minimum of 2 years in hotel revenue management experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5 star class environment
2. Strong knowledge of technical and managerial applications of reservation systems and their utilization. Financial management skills e.g., ability to analyze P&L statements, develop operating budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure planning are essential
3. Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
4. Result-Oriented. Have a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel
