Title: Junior Agriculture Project Manager

Description:

• The incumbent will play a pivotal role in setting up a greenfield agricultural project in Azerbaijan.
• He/she will be the key operational person on the ground to manage and execute operational tasks relating to the agricultural side of the project

Reporting  Relationship:

• Reports to the Country Manager of the newly created structure (to be hired)
• Will be in direct contact with External Agronomical consultants

Core Responsibilities

Land plot Scouting
• Conduct Land plot Research across the Azerbaijan territory
• Land plot assessment and recommendation
• Soil Sample Collection
• Information collection on the agricultural industry in the country

Business Planning
• Assist the central team (Country Manager, Shareholders) in the business plan
• Local Validation of Business plan hypothesis
• Research and data collection on the local markets, up stream and down stream activity, suppliers, legal framework

Execution
• Assist in the setup of the approved project
• Supplier selection
• Project implementation

Qualifications

• Master in Agronomic Sciences
• Fluent English

Knowledge & Experience:

• Excellent theoretical and practical Agronomic knowledge
• No previous experience required
