RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dealing with bookings by phone, e-mail, letter, fax or face-to-face
- Completing procedures when guests arrive and leave
- Preparing bills and taking payments
- Dealing with special requests from guests
- Ensures that the area is managed well by the team
- Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily
- Ensures that guest history records are accurately maintained and all repeat guests are pre-registered
- Ensures that hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to money handling are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of information
Essential Skills required:
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Azeri, Russian and English
• Strong customer service skills
• A friendly and professional telephone manner
• Ability to adapt to different guests
• Patience and tact
• Ability to handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
• Ability to resolve problems satisfactorily
• Ability to work under pressure
Advantageous Skills:
- Knowledge of Opera PMS, Fidelio, Iscala
- Previous experience as team leader or supervisor
