Job title: Product & Strategy Specialist

About the position

Product & Strategy specialist will report to Product & Strategy Head in a new digital product project. The key role of the position is to support the Head in developing products and product strategies as well as commercial terms to meet the general business goals. Ideally, the candidate will have some relevant experience in financial and digital sectors, understand product development in a technology environment and be a fast-learner.

Research & strategy development
Product development
Product descriptions & specifications
Product commercials
Product deployment

Job duties:

(1) Product & market research & strategy development

 Conduct research to identify key technology, business mode trends and competition;
 Research customer preferences and be able to set inputs for market research and surveys;
 Continually monitor global and regional developments in technology changes;
 Keep updated research on market terms, pricing and cost structures;
 Develop strategy documents to drive project plans and business plans;
 Help develop strategies to create competitive strengths.

(2) Product development

 Develop business requirements for products and continually challenge need for updates;
 Develop technical design parameters and flows;
 Develop customer interfaces;
 Regularly communicate with the technology function for the above.

(3) Product commercials

 Prepare regular analyses of product pricing in a relevant market segment, costing and competitive trends;
 Prepare selling points of the product from pricing point of view to the Sales & Marketing team;
 Develop revenue models and monetization strategies;
 Help develop the strategic plans.

(4) Product deployment

 Ensure product deployments and changes pass through a rigorous deployment and testing processes;
 Coordinate the testing and acceptance with Operations, Technology and Sales teams;

(5) Quality management

 Develop respective policies and procedures in cooperation with others;
 Setup SLA with internal customers on delivery and service KPI’s and regularly measure and report them to management;
 Ensure that all product specifications are in full compliance with existing rules & regulations;
 Communicate on regular basis with internal customers on planning and implementation;
 Always maintain documentation and records to be easily auditable;
 Continuous self-study and development.

Requirements

Education:
University education in finance and / or technology (IT technologies preferred); unless you can convince otherwise.

Work experience:
At least one year in technology, financial services, digital products roles in a technology or financial services organizations.

Experience with business plans, financial modeling, strategic research and product development are strengths factors. Preference will be given to strong skills in aesthetic design and strong writing skills. If you don’t have experience, but strongly believe in yourself, challenge us.

IT skills:
Strong PowerPoint, Visio and MS Excel skills; other skills relevant to the scope are additional advantages.

Fluency in as many languages as possible
