Job Title:  Civil Construction Supervisor

Project: South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion Georgia Section

Work location: Rustavi, Georgia

Reports to:  Construction Manager

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the assisting management of site teams and activities,
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Working with heavy machinery-large excavators/dumpers and working knowledge of muck shifting and heavy excavation works,
• Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all construction related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules.
• Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all construction works prior to execution. Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Line Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
• Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
• Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all construction work groups at site.
• Plans the execution of all construction works and coordinates the works with all technicial groups.
• Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all construction groups at site.
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
• Supports the Line Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for technical groups at site.
• Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
• Directly responsible for the safety of all construction groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience as Civil Supervisor in oil and gas site civil construction preferably on plants and pipelines(above ground installations, platforms, valve stations).
• Knowledge of MS Office;
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani language;
• Experience with working internationally; within matrix organizations and with a variety of cultures;
• Ability to travel inside and outside the country;
• Ability to effectively structure and deliver content in written; oral; and formal presentations;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
