We are currently looking for highly-motivated, competent candidates who display exemplary safety behaviour and aspire to the highest standards of work ethics to fill the following vacancy in new projects:
Environmental Specialist
Key responsibilities:
To control all activities from environmental perspective to be in compliance with defined Company Policy, procedures, regulations as well as signed contracts requirements;
To be involved in preparation of spill prevention plans related to environmental protection;
To ensure compliance with permissible levels of wastes defined by currently valid legislation, standards and normative documents;
Assessment of environmental impacts and development of mitigation measures arising from new technologies within the company;
Continuous implementation of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standard within the company;
Carrying out environmental case reports for internal purposes and governmental bodies;
To ensure reporting, documenting and investigation of environmental incidents;
Periodically conduct environmental audits and assessments in accordance with company requirements;
To develop written recommendations to correct non-conformances and improve present condition at worksites;
Control over segregation and transportation of generated wastes and carrying out statistics as required;
Implementation of regulations, rules, standards and norms related to environmental protection within the company.
Required general qualifications:
Higher education;
At least 3 years of experience in related fields;
Good communication and influencing skills;
Ambition to succeed;
Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
Multilingual (Azeri, English, Russian);
Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook).
