Civil Construction Inspector
Requirements:
Work Experience:
Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role on a construction supervision
Languages: Azerbaijani (fluent), Russian (fluent), English is an advantage
Other skills/Certificates Required:
Higher education in the related field
Should have relevant certificates in the building control
Working knowledge of SNIP (CIS standard)
Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals
Ability to identify and resolve problems on a timely manner;
Good planning and organizational skills;
Flexible to work overtime if required.
Responsibilities:
Review of projects and as-built documentation of all stages of construction for the compliance with the requirements of present type objects, regulations (SNIP and Local) and recommendations for improvement:
Static (design and construction)
Review of site and preparation of proposals for the making of changes in the current parameters of the area, for the purposes of certification of cinema area;
Quality control, continuous technical supervision of all stages of construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the object by the relevant contractors and subcontractors (daily and in the period under review);
Quantity control, continuous monitoring of schedules of installation and construction works, cooperation with the customer, minimizing of delays and backlogs in the construction process (daily and in the period under review);
Materials control (Quantity, quality, availability of materials certificates)
Documentation control (daily and final acts, journals)
Observance of standards of workplace safety and manufacturing organization by contractors and subcontractors according to the customer’s requirements, availability of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Visual inspection of the construction and identification of defects and shortages;
Issue of reports identifying all above and describing required works to finish construction such as daily reports in an agreed manner (in electronic form) and the final report.
