A young and dynamic hotel management company in Azerbaijan managing a world-class portfolio of hotels and resorts ABSHERON Hotel Group is looking for Finance Manager/Director for one of its Hotel Units.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and ensure full implementation of all Accounting & Finance and Information Systems Policies & Procedures.
• Implementation of accounting standards to ensure compliance with local government and USALI requirements.
• Preparation, supervision and ensuring correct posting of daily/monthly journal entries, balance sheet and income statement.
• Assistance to the General Manager and Head of Departments in the compilation of forecasts covering all activities of the entity.
• Supervise the Finance Department team members.
• Assistance in maintaining or increasing the profitability of the Hotel by providing appropriate cost control.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior work experience in Finance in the Hotel or Restaurant Industry;
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, business accounting or other related field;
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English, Azeri & Russian;
• Strong Microsoft Office skills & Accounting/Finance Programs;
• Knowledge of finance, accounting & legal processes;
• Experienced in iScala back – of – house Software (thorough knowledge is minimum requirement);
• Strong analytical, decision-making, communication skills;
• Ability to frequently travel to regions of Azerbaijan;
• Knowledgeable of the Uniform System of Hotel & Lodging industry (11th Edition).
