Position Title: Cost Estimator for Furniture Factory

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan (or any if required)

Reports To: Furniture Factory Director

Objective:

• Prepare cost estimates, price forecasts for product manufacturing in bidding on or determining price of product or service;

Responsibilities:

• To gather details and compiles data to estimate all production costs according to given specifications;
• To consider raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, labor and transportation for estimations;
• To determine necessary resources on cost estimates and budgetary constraints;
• To prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation;
• To prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors;
• To prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors;
• To establish and maintain tendering process and conduct negotiations;

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ working experience in the similar position;
• Analytical Skills: must be good at planning for large-scale, multi-step projects;
• Communication: Fluent in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages, good writing and speaking skills are needed when communicating with employees, subcontractors and dealing with clients
• Time-Management: Deadlines are crucial in Furniture Factory Projects. Making sure that everything is on time and moving smoothly is a critical part of the job;
