Position: Payroll Officer (6 months)

Work Experience: Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a large organisation within Oil and Gas Industry;

Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent).

Other skills/Certificates Required: 

• Proven ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner;
• Knowledge of personnel administration and procedures for local and seconded employees (e.g. payroll administration, timekeeping, attendance report, social security, insurance and administrative fulfilments).
• Strong Azerbaijani & English language proficiency and high level computer skills including MS Outlook, Excel, Access etc.

Responsibilities: 

• Collecting employees pertinent documents from Recruitment Section,  filing them and uploading the information in IMS (in-house system);
• Producing employment agreements for local employees, explanation of contractual terms and conditions to the employee and seeking for acknowledgement;
• Responding to the queries of the local employees regarding contract related documents such as producing employment certificates etc.;
• Correlate the issues related to project personnel with Project HR Coordinator;
• Administering the application for office access ID’s for new employees through receptionist function;
• Preparing bank accounts application forms for new  employees;
• Collecting expatriates timesheets, expenses, cash advances and secure approval then populating into GHRS, Flexy and sending the final one to Home Companies;
• Assisting the Payroll Team in Home Companies regarding the correctness of employees man-hour uploaded in GHRS and Flexy;
• Preparing and calculating living allowances for Expatriates through IMS, secure approval and forwarding to AFC for payments;
• Inserting man-hours, cash advances/expenses and other necessary adjustment in Expatriates Payroll, analysis and calculation of expatriates PIT, processing, finalizing and posting;
• Extracting of Reports for Insurances and Pensions and forwarded to GPS;
• Supporting in preparing other reports and data analysis;
• Verifying applications for vacation/missions in TMS and administering the system during off-shift of  Senior Payroll and Contracts Officer;
• Preparing weekly reports for Security Manager / updating SIDAC reports for  respective entities;
• Other administrative and payroll activities;
• Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.
