Norm LLC has completed a construction of “Norm Sement” plant in Garadagh district of Baku city, with production capacity of 5 thousand tons of clinker per day and 2 million tons of cement per year and launched the cement production.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Technical High school / Mechanical Engineer
• Min: 3 years experience in HSE
• Fluent in Azeri, Russian and English
• Azerbaijan citizen
• NEBOSH certificate is a preferrable

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure that management and employees and sub contractors are aware of OH&S legislation
• Conducts OH&S Induction training for all employees, contractors and visitors newly arrived at company site
• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment related the use of hazardous substances within the plant.
• Provide practical interpretation to site representatives of standards, procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Participates in monitoring, evaluating and review of OH&S performance in QCP
• Responsible for investigation of production and construction accidents, preparation of relevant documentation and liaison with relevant government officials ;Near Miss/Hazard/Observation Reports
• Civil Defense training
• Preparation and implementation of documents related to Civil Defense
• Civil Defense Evacuation
• Daily OHSE inspection with report(Description of problem, opportunities for improvement photos)
• Ensure the implementation of permit-to-work system and risk assessment to identify risks and implement controls
• Responsible for conducting Toolbox Talks. Deliver tool box talks to Site Representatives on specific HSE issues
• Audit work being performed with ''Safe Work Permit”
• Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations
• Ensure availability of required documentation on QCP sites and assure understanding by effected personnel.
• Responsible for emergency response plans and conduct exercise/drills to determine readiness of Company / Contractors
• Maintaining Safety and Operations Manuals
• Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements
• Supervises the regular inspection of fire fighting, safety and emergency response equipment
• Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans
• To secure the continuous reduction of pollution from plant activities in compliance with the defined technical and Azerbaijan rules and norm for environmental targets
• To ensure and coordinate communication with local environmental authorities and respective departments
• To coordinate and execute environmental reporting to local environmental authorities and respective departments
