Piping Supervisor

The piping supervisor is required to maintain proper control over pipe fabrication works at shop and field works. Proper supervision acctivities means that works are executing according to İFC drawings and quality control works in line with ITP requirment of project.

• Assist in establishing shop drawings from the Isometric Drawings.
• Monitor and guide contractor on pipe installation activities.
• To review and action all piping related contractor raised site queries.
• When necessary assist QA/QC engineer for piping construction, welding and inspection matters. 
• To ensure all piping fabrication is completed in line with project specifications.
• Establish all pipework is chemically and flushed clean to the satisfaction of the project requirements.
• Assist in establishing pipework hydrotest packs, oversee contractor activities and witness tests.
• To monitor and report on progress of piping  installation.
• To carry out piping inspection and punch out.
• Take a lead role in the promotion of safe working practices on site.
• Take part in internal meetings with the site team.

Able to read English -- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents;Active Learning -- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making; Mathematics -- Using mathematics to solve problems; Installation -- Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.;Management of Material Resources -- Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work; Management of Personnel Resources -- Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
