QAQC - Welding Piping Inspector

• Responsible for performing quality activities in accordance with  quality management system established
• Carrying out inspections on discipline responsible to determine whether work performed conforms to quality requirements, and recording its result
• Ensuring inspection status is controlled through efficient tools such as inspection matrix
• Performing inspections on particular disciplines and recording its  results on the forms as per ITP established
• Updating inspection status by using systematic tools such as  inspection matrix
• Preparing the Inspection records to be reflected on MC Doc.
• Performing surveillance that tests are conducted as per  international codes and standards
• Reporting nonconformities and observations found during  inspections to QC Supervisors and QC Managers 
• Coordinating inspections with client inspectors
• Preparing NCRs under QC Supervisor or QC Manager’s directions

The inspection activities should be managed and supervised by welding inspector having general knowledge of the welding activities and in depth knowledge of welding inspection. He must demonstrate the achieved quality of the welded product, all the welding related documents (e.g. WPS, WPQR, Welder’s Qualification record, etc) shall be properly controlled. Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience; good written and oral in English
