Communication Manager

Main requirements:

• Studies in journalism, general marketing, business or media
• Broad experience of the Media Business (at least 5-10 years in the Media Business – in a position of seniority) and profound Marketing knowledge
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Azeri and Russian
• Strong management skills (Team of specialists, leading external media companies, freelances, etc…)
• EDV (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Understanding the national media landscape (all channels: broadcast, print, web&new media), ideally already maintaining a strong network
• Editorial sense (being the national “Editor in Chief”): content & story developer (beyond the Red Bull world of content)
• Understanding of distribution (print, broadcast, web&new media)
• Broad production knowledge (photography, text, moving images)
• Strong marketing understanding and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

• Establishing a media network (personal relationships) in all relevant fields for Red Bull.
• Developing a target-oriented, well-balanced annual communication plan that serves the local business needs best, making full use of Red Bulls content portfolio by leveraging local and global/international projects in the local media market to build brand awareness and image and generate revenues.
• Managing the production of locally but also internationally relevant top quality content and acting as executive producer for Red Bull in the territory.
• Strategically distributing customized local and international content nationally to the appropriate media outlets in print, web and TV.
• Acting as a content developer and collector for the Red Bull Media House, feeding requested information plus finalised editorially valuable productions (moving images, audio, stills) into the global Red Bull Content Pool in time, according to its technical specifications and keeping all relevant materials updated also delivering the requested documentation.
• Monitoring Red Bull media output according to international standards and being responsible for the integration of national clippings into the global Coverage Database.
