Welding Engineer

Description

Welding Engineer with 5+ years of welding related experience, including metallurgical engineering, in a construction, fabrication, or repair facility with a B.Sc. in materials/metallurgical engineering or similar technology diploma with more experience. Develop and qualify welding procedure specifications (WPS) and related procedure qualification records (PQR), supervise and document welder qualifications, interact with welding department (manufacturing and repair), work with welders, suppliers, 3rd party NDE personnel, to meet the user's requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review project specifications for welding process, base metals, filler metals, heat treatment, and NDE requirements; select appropriate WPS, and if required, qualify a new WPS.
• Submit material and process selection recommendations to ensure attainment for design objectives and service application.
• Review order packages and advise the Project Manager of potential materials, welding, heat treatment, or NDE problems.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in metallurgical/materials engineering, or welding/materials engineering technology with additional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years welding related experience, including welding metallurgy experience, in a construction, fabrication, or repair facility is required, although 5 to 10 years of experience is preferred.

Предоставляется проживание, 3х разовое питание, график работы 6/1 с 8-19, суббота с 09-17-00  
    
Работа проектная от 1-3 года работы в зависимости от проекта.
