Job Description

Audit - is an independent verification of the financial statements for the reliability of the information in. Audit involves certain processes and procedures designed to verify if a true and fair financial statements posted on the company, reflects the results of its operations. Audit also assumes a certain level of understanding of issues and analysis. We should be able to provide our customers the necessary consultation on the rules and the underlying information in the financial statements and help them understand the current requirements.

What is needed to join KPMG:

 Ability to perform an independent audit engagement leader role;
 Report to Managing Partner of KPMG in Azerbaijan;
 Strong client relationships and relevant contacts;
 Experience with emerging markets is a definite plus;
 Experience working with major multinational clients;
 Planning, review and finalization of audit engagements in accordance with strict deadlines
 Ability to manage multiple engagements and completing priorities as required;
 Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationship;
 Assist practice management in developing team members within your area of specialization;
 Coordinate work with the Department of Professional Practice Work
 Ability to manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment is essential;
 Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills;
 Mentoring, caching and organizational administrative skills;
 Full compliance with strict risk management procedures;
 Business development and marketing of KPMG;
 Energetic and culturally adaptable;
 Manage quality to maintain the firm’s high reputation.

Requirements:

Professional knowledge and skills
• Minimum 6 (six) years of audit experience on medium to large clients
• Very strong auditing and technical skills IFRS and/or US GAAP
• Relevant exposure to the following sectors: Oil & Gas, Production process,  Energy & Natural Resources, Consumer Markets, Industrial Markets, Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare
• Solid experience in applying international accounting and auditing standards and strong technical expertise
• Fluent English, Russian and Azerbaijani.

Professional qualification:
• ACCA, CPA or any equivalent international accounting qualification
