Project Description:
SAIPEM-AZFEN JV is construction, engineering and procurement Company engaged in construction of major gas pipeline in Georgia and Azerbaijan.
SAIPEM-AZFEN JV is looking for the candidates who have skills and experience to deliver the following responsibilities during the pipeline construction for the following positions:
Required experience and qualification:
• High Medical Education degree
• Excellent spoken & written in Azerbaijani and English mandatory
• A minimum of five 5 years’ experience providing occupational health and industrial hygiene advisor/Doctor role in the oil and gas or similar industry
• Computer skills that includes MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access)
• Strong communication and team work skills
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Development and administration of occupational health surveillance programs
• Administration of employee medical reports, screening reports and fitness to work status.
• Ensuring proper reporting and recording of infectious diseases.
• Provision of Health Impact Assessment to communities
• Designing, development and delivering of health promotion initiatives.
• Implementation of Return to Work policy, procedure and strategy
• Provision of occupational health medical assessment/consultation and medical referrals.
• Performance of periodic health, hygiene and facility audits for site facilities, including kitchen & accommodations.
• Provision of leadership for first aid provision and program
• Administration of programs designed to reduce work related hazards & risks i.e. hearing protection, respiratory protection, ergonomics, travel health and immunizations
• Designing and provision of briefing/training as necessary on matters relating to occupational health.
• Management of onsite medical facilities, team of doctors and nurses
• Provision of an occupational health fitness program for employees
•Health and Industrial Hygiene Advisor will report to H&S manager.
