Position: Mechanical Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance and safety of all on-site mechanical equipment and installations
o Ensure a comprehensive filing system and database for each  equipment is set up and maintained as per company procedure to include drawings, technical specifications and any other documentation required or produced in the fulfillment of a project
o Supervise maintenance work on forklifts, cranes and etc. in order to prevent from damages
o Provide timely inspection of all machinery at the yard
o Diagnosing problems in the fleet and advise appropriate methods to repair
o Manage and oversee all mechanical maintenance matters
o Organize maintenance activities in accordance with Yard Maintenance Mechanical Coordinator’s instructions
o Maintain the mechanical equipment in a clean and functional state at all times
o Prepare, develop and submit requisition for spare parts, oil and lubricants for machines,  calculate quantities of material required for projects and in conjunction with the Procurement department order these from suppliers
o Assist in developing budgets for assigned units including operating machines and equipment.

Requirements for Candidate:

o Higher Education (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
o Relevant work experience – minimum 5 year (knowledge of diesel engine and all its systems)
o Knowledge of hydraulic, air, vacuum systems of machines and aggregates
o Fluency in  Azeri / English / Russian
o Excellent computer skills (especially knowledge of AUTO Cad is preferred)
o Able to communicate effectively at all levels
