MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

 Proficient verbal and written English, Russian and Azeri
 Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills
 Goal oriented, responsible, flexible and creative under pressure

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Establishing and maintaining official working relations with the legislative authority;
 Development and maintaining relations with other parties involved in the legislative process;
 Development relations with the executive authorities by the request from the management bodies of the Employer.
 Following legislative acts that can affect the interests of the members of the Employer.
 Obtaining, analyzing and summarizing of such legislative acts.
 Preparation of the position papers in respect to the issues determined by the management bodies and Committees of the Employer.
 Presentation and promotion of these position papers to the members and relevant Government bodies
 Coordination and participation in preparation of the White Paper prepared by the Employer. Such participation shall include drafting the proposals suggested to be added to the White paper in writing and submission to the management bodies;
 Provision of the support to the activity of the Committees of the Employer and working groups established by these Committees within the field he/she is responsible.
 Keeping AmCham leadership aware of all and any legal/compliance matters in relation to the operations and activity of the Chamber by regularly updating Executive Director on legal compliance and presenting with sound analyses and pathways for each issue;
 Provision of legal services including but not limited to:
 (a) Legal activities in respect to registration of the changes and amendments to the Articles of the Employer;
 (b) Registration of the representatives of the management bodies elected to the elective agencies of the Employer;
 (c) Registration of the lotteries organized in the events of the Employer if necessary;
 (d) Preparation of the contracts for the Employer and review of the existing contracts as well as provision of advises on such contracts upon request (verbal and written)
 (e) Provision of the written and verbal information by the request of the Employer (verbal or written)
 (f) Provision of the written advises on legislation on the NGO
 (g) Provision of legal advises on other legal issue by the request of the Employer (verbal or written)
 (h) Provision of legal support based on written requests by the members of the Employer in respect to the legal field. Such requests shall be reasonable, shall not be interpreted as free of charge legal services by the Employer. 
 To represent the Employer by request from the representatives of the management bodies of the Employer;
 To provide advocacy support to member companies in concordance with management of the Employer.
 To prepare regular legal updates to include all legislative acts adopted in the covered period that might affect members’ business
 To assist Executive Director or work colleagues in any other job related duties if required upon verbal or written request
