Role synopsis
Due to significant growth in the region, PD&MS Group are looking for a Senior Instrument & Electrical Designer to supplement the team based in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Candidates should have previous experience in the oil and gas industry and have a proven background in E&I design engineering. Additionally, previous experience of drilling facilities along with offshore survey experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Familiarisation with and full understanding of, overall project work-scope and project schedule.
• Identification of outstanding interface engineering requirements through interface with project team and client.
• Site survey to establish way forward with a view to completing interface engineering and detailed design.
• Design development.
• Detailed design on fast track basis.
• As building as required, and input to project close out activities.
• Maintaining or bettering project schedule.
• Ensure compliance with relevant QA Health & Safety and Environmental Policies, where applicable
Essential qualifications and experience
• Minimum HNC in Mechanical/Instrumental/Electrical Engineering or Recognised Equivalent Training Course
• Previous experience in Drilling Facilities
• 3 Years’ experience in Detailed Design using Auto CAD
• Offshore surveying experience
• Understanding of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes & Standards
