Purpose:
We are looking for the energetic and career oriented Engineering Coordinator who will be able to support the Engineering team in their daily operations. We expect that Coordinator will be an organizing and helping hand to the engineering team.
Main Duties:
Reporting to the Engieering manager, the coordinator’s responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Supporting the Engineering Departments in the daily operations of the department
Assisting in departmental recruiting, scheduling, vacation, holiday planning, and payroll
Attending weekly Engineering meetings, pre-con meetings and banquet event order meetings as required
Booking, arranging, and organizing all Engineering meetings and prepare detailed meeting minutes
Preparing requisitions as required
Keeping detailed employee files for all Engineering colleagues
Maintaining and tracking all necessary colleague documentation for employee action forms, colleague discussion forms etc in all colleague files
Ordering and maintaining supplies for office/department
Additional duties as required
Tasks (optional):
• To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
• To have complete understanding of the policy relating to fire, safety and health.
• To have completely understanding of the employee handbook and to adhere to the regulations contained therein.
• To respond to changes in departmental functions as dictated by the management
• To maintain courteous and friendly atmosphere and good working relationships with all colleagues.
• To act as a department team member and involve in projecting a good personal/department and company image. • To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
• To be punctual and support to maintain discipline within the department
Qualifications
• Certificate in any Commerce/Finance course or relevant field is an asset. • Experience working in the hospitality or other customer service related industry
Experience
• Experience in administrational roles at least for 2-3 years;
Understanding of Technical and Maintenance work, knowledge and experience in Safety are the asset
Demonstrated experience working in a high volume, high pressure environment
Skills
Excellent organizational skills, able to multi-task and meet deadlines Proficient in English (verbal and written) and Azeri or Russian required
Working knowledge of Microsoft office and applications
Must possess strong organizational and time management stills
