Job title: Materials Controller (Offshore)

Responsibilities:

•   Accountable for asset stocktaking and stockholding
•   Responsible for the correct documentation of hazardous materials - Dangerous   Goods/Special Wastes, by air and by sea.
•   Checking shipping draft manifests to ensure that the correct materials are being shipped
•   Responsible for the temporary equipment register in accordance with procedure
•   Participating in Platform Planning Meetings to understand materials distribution priorities
•   Carrying out platform inspections to ensure that materials are being utilized at the locations defined by end users and not being degraded by long term non usage/inadequate storage

Requirements:

• At least 5 years relevant experience
• BOSIET Certification
• Proven capability in material control functions in an offshore oil & gas environment. Ideally skilled in operation of gas, oil & utilities aspect of production facilities;
• Proven capability in measuring and reporting data to deliver performance improvements;
• Perform in an emergency response role as defined in the company procedures, managing and controlling emergencies response action in the event of accidents or incidents;
• Experience of warehousing operations;
• Experience Stock Management and Procurement skills;
• Experience of coordinating logistics and the supply of resources for planned maintenance activities;
• Systems literate - experience of computerised management systems.
• Able to manage own time and apply relevant time management techniques to ensure timely delivery set work activities;
