System Engineer

Main Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer  Engineering, or closely related field,
• Hands-on experience to include but not limited to System Management, Network, Active Directory and Exchange Managements,
• Intensive knowledge of Network Cisco and Microsoft platforms (having Microsoft System Administration certificates or CCNA ),
• Good knowledge of IBM, HP hardware server and storage,
• Having preferably network and security certificates,
• Exhibits good communication skills and can work effectively at all levels, both internally and externally,
• Strong problem solving, decision making and analytical thinking skills
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, English,
• No restriction to travel.

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation of a 7/24 internal IT system,
• Responsible for high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving, qualifying the product fit and defining support needs,
• Manages secure server services; hardware, operating systems and databases,
• Supports Network Specialist maintaining LAN and WAN availability and security,
• Supports Microsoft platform (Active directory / Exchange ),
• Manages end user PC environment and provide support services,
• Manages new installations and updates effectively and on time,
• Controls continuously hardware, software and network equipment, reports any failures and takes corrective actions,
• Makes necessary planning, corresponding and documentation for IT Systems,
• Plans and manages upgrade planning, installation and operations when necessary,
• Updates and changes the documents and policies,
• Follows upcoming technologies and offers suitable solutions to be implemented,
• Manages implementation of accepted solutions/projects,
• Supports Department Manager in preparing annual departmental budget.
