We are looking for an inspired individual to fill the position of a part-time (50%) Europe East Culture Programme Coordinator.

Europe East Culture Programme Coordinator will be responsible to facilitate delivery of the EC funded project Eastern Partnership Culture Programme II, in coordination with the Arts Manager (Culture Capacity Development Coordinator) in Azerbaijan, Programme office in Kyiv; to provide support in administrative and financial management of the project activities in Azerbaijan, to contribute to the project evaluation and financial and technical reporting on the project in accordance with British Council and EU requirements and guidelines,  and British Council EDI standards.    

Europe East Culture Programme Coordinator’s main duties and responsibilities will be in the following fields:

• Delivery of project activities in cooperation with the regional project team
• Liaise with local partners
• Procurement, contracting and payment of goods and services
• Administrative, financial and logistical support to the project
 
Requirements:

Successful applicants will need to be able to travel within Azerbaijan and abroad and to work out-of normal-working hours when needed.

Benefits:

The post is available for 36 months. The post holder will benefit from a medical insurance package and annual defined leave allowance.  Post will be appointed at British Council Grade H and starting annual gross salary will be 8 158.50 AZN.
