Hill International seeks to recruit for a project currently being implemented in Azerbaijan a:

Site Supervisor / Civil Works Inspector (Night Shift)

Qualifications & Skills

• BSc (or higher) in Engineering;
• 10 years of experience in the construction sector;
• Previous experience of steel construction inspection
• Fluency in English;
• Additional language skills in Turkish and/or Russian required;
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Supervision of Site activities of Civil/Structural Works Trade Contractors.
• Coordinate and inspect work of all civil works trade contractors including steel construction works with making sure that the works are in line with the drawings/ specifications/ applicable codes and approved method statements.
• Provide daily observation(s) and reports of the trade contractor’s work and as it relates to the percentage of work completed by the trade contractors.
• Review progress reports submitted by each civil works trade contractor and confirm the requests reflect actual progress.
• Review all trade contractor(s) requests for change orders and make recommendations to his supervisor as to their validity and corresponding action
• Manage sub-contractor compliance with established goals.
• Manage the review and processing of RFIs, clarifications and interpretation of the contractual documents, shop drawings, submittals, samples, schedules adjustments, and maintenance of logs through the utilization of a document control system.
• Provide client and the architects with digital photographs of the project and/or conditions as required.
