Job title Desktop Publishing and Content Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
• Plans concept by studying information and materials.
• Prepares layouts for approval.
• Prepares final layouts for printing.
• Works in close cooperation with the Brand Function to assure consistency on the layouts, branding, logos, etc.
• Manages the relationship with the printer houses, delivery processes, quality control and delivery to final destination.
• Conceive, write and deliver compelling, keyword-rich, actionable content for a range of mediums - online, digital, social, mobile and print - targeted at technical and business audiences, particularly software integrators and web developers
• Write technical content that speaks to various client-specific personas and market segments; creating a user-friendly experience for the reader
• Synthesize complex technical content into compelling actionable content that produces high response and optimal search rates
• Own the content creation and optimization process end-to-end from initial concept to strategy to research, approvals, fact-checking, key wording, editing and final proofing
• Collaborate with analytics staff and agencies to increase search relevancy; conducting keyword research, testing for relevance, optimizing content, generating meta tags, maintaining metadata, performing strategic link building and measuring/reporting overall content effectiveness
• Work closely with the Marketing Team to post engaging content, upload videos, images and audio files to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google+ and social accounts paced through an editorial calendar

Experience & Core Skills Required

• 3 + years’ experience in a related field.
• Proven experience as a project manager for editorial services and/or presentations and publications
• Graphic Design and Layout skills
• Proven experience with In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Power Point…
• Well-organised and capable to meet deadlines.
• Capable to work efficiently under stress.
• Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively and establish effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to organize and synthesize information from multiple source
• Must demonstrate a track record of delivering under high pressure and demanding operational environments.
• Hungry for information, professional on-the-spot communication skills
• Resourcefulness
• Ability to write content, copy and messaging in variety of styles, voices and tones, adaptable to different target audiences, product categories and branding initiatives
• Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
• Daily, weekly and monthly reporting on processes and operations
