Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily administrative and operational support to the HSE Department.
- Maintain and update HSE records, reports, and documentation in compliance with company policies and ISO 45001 standards.
- Assist in preparation of incident, near-miss, and hazard reports; ensure proper filing and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Participate in HSE meetings, take minutes, and track action items to ensure timely closure.
- Support HSE audits and inspections — prepare documentation, follow up on findings, and assist with corrective action plans.
- Assist in developing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and programs.
- Coordinate internal and external HSE training sessions, maintain training attendance and certification records.
- Prepare monthly HSE performance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and analysis.
- Maintain HSE communication boards, safety alerts, and awareness materials at the workplace.
- Ensure that all contractors and visitors comply with company safety rules and procedures.
- Provide administrative assistance in risk assessments, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
- Support emergency response planning, drills, and recordkeeping.
- Liaise with HR, operations, and contractors to ensure alignment of HSE practices across departments.
- Monitor the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and report shortages or issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in an administrative or assistant capacity.
- Good understanding of ISO 45001 and occupational health and safety management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HSE documentation systems.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is an advantage).
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
