MEDIA & PR ANALYST

Main Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree preferably from Business Administration, Economics departments of universities (Master’s Degree in Marketing Management or related fields is an asset),
 Media, Public Relations and Sponsorship management experience in a multinational company,
 Exhibits good communication skills and can work effectively at all levels, both internally and externally,
 Enthusiastic and motivated to create new ideas,
 Strong problem solving, decision making and analytical thinking skills
 Fluent in Azerbaijani, English,
 Advanced in MS Office applications,

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

PR Management

 Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies,
 Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople in the industry,
 Dealing with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations,
 Designing, writing, proofreading, editing and delivering all required communications like in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, presentations, press releases, articles, white papers, executive bios, social media content, speaking proposals, annual reports etc.
 Preparing and supervising the production of all communication materials like publicity brochures, hand outs, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films, multimedia programmes etc.,
 Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions and press tours,
 Maintaining and updating information on the organisation's website,
 Producing, managing and updating information/content and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook,
 Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation,
 Conducting extensive media outreach and preparing/analysing media coverage reports through press monitoring,
 Monitoring industry and PR trends and adopt best practices in a timely manner.

Media Management

 Developing offline and online media strategies for the company,
 Executing the company’s brand media plans in line with pre-agreed media strategies,
 Identifying, developing and executing communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references,
 Assuring proper and timely media agency deliverables and commitments,
 Management of monthly offline brand media plans,
 Alignment of offline and online brand media plans,

 Media budget management and reporting,
 Active participation into all internal communication projects,
 Choosing the right touch points for customer and effective portfolio media management,
 Internal analysis and reporting on media and communication,
 Internal coordination with brand teams as well as relevant departments,
 Media agency evaluation, compensation and contract management,
 Monitoring media landscape and industry trends to adopt best practices in a timely manner,
 Planning and executing strategies to generate revenue from company owned advertising space,

Sponsorship Management

 Planning, developing and implementing sponsorship strategies,
 Analysing and prioritizing sponsorship needs,
 Sourcing speaking and sponsorship opportunities,
 Developing strategic alliances in line with business vision and strategy,
 Managing sponsorship projects in line with business objectives.
