Position: HSE Training Officer
Work Location: Base Office with possible Offshore mission.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor
Years of Working Experience: Must have at least 3 years experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent).
Other Skills/Certificates Required: Be fluent in standard software for PC such as MS Office;
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Training Matrix for all Company employees and required types of HSE Training;
• Develop and maintain training records for all subcontractors attending Company trainings;
• Review Subcontractors Training Matrixes;
• Take part in Subcontractors audit, when required;
• Develop Training schedule and conduct training according to approved schedule at various locations (including offshore) in order to ensure that all Company personnel receive HSE training in accordance with Training Matrix;
• Work with Managers and Supervisors to update training requirements, in conformity with job requirements;
• Work with Managers and Supervisors to accommodate actual dates/times of training sessions within the respective work schedules;
• Develop training materials based on latest revision of HSE documentation;
• Ensure that the learning target of training sessions is achieved. The learning target for each training session is to be demonstrated by a test of attendees to ensure they know and understand the contents of the training session(s);
• Develop and review training materials;
• Keep a file on external training institutes/organizations and their training schedules;
• Review training contents and methods of institutes providing external training and regularly audit same;
• Provide assistance in filling in RTC’s and audit RTC’s.
• Identify and suggest needs for new or improvements in HSE documentation;
• Keep HSE Training documentation in good order and readily available and properly file records;
• Check whether HSE procedures are adhered to by all personnel on barge / site;
• Regularly check whether Emergency Response Procedures are in up to date and are known to personnel at barge / site;
• Ensure that adequate training for Emergency Response Team members is identified and members receive adequate training to comply with emergency duties;
• Act as HSE Officer when assigned to do so by the HSE Coordinator.
