IT Service delivery / Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages the overall project process and ensures the quality service delivery in required time frame
• Provides direction to project, service, or solution teams for infrastructure initiatives
• Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing project, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing a project budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Develops/reviews/approves project plans, manages issues & risks, contributes to issue resolution, allocates and directs staff and other resources to accomplish project tasks in time line, and maintains control over the projects
• Monitors the progress of the team, which may include client employee and/or vendor team members, informs the team of its progress and provides the team with support and direction
• Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding project direction

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 + years of IT Project Management experience
• Language skills (fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian and English)
• Ability to work in fast paced and changing environment
• Ability to manage IT projects that are medium in complexity, size, and scope
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools is essential
• Ability to thoroughly understand the business issues surrounding each project
• Ability to act as the team's primary interface between IT and the business sectors
• Ability to manage project issues and conflicts and deliver projects within budget and scope
