Job description – Operations Manager

About the job
 
As an Operations Manager at foodpanda, you will be responsible for setting up and optimizing foodpanda’s operations. Other locations include Eastern Europe, South East Asia, Latin America as well as Africa. At the same time, you will be part of an international network in a globally expanding venture, in which decisions are made at rocket speed and hierarchies are low.

Who we are looking for
 
After earning an outstanding degree/MBA at a top university, you have gained at least 3 years of work experience in a top-tier consulting firm or in investment banking with a focus on Operations. Moreover, you have a proven track record of personal, academic and professional achievements. Beyond your operational skills, you are strong at structuring and in analytics. Your knowledge of the internet and e-commerce sector is impressive and you are driven and ambitious. Independence, flexibility and speed are as important to you as international experience.

Education and Experience

Education background in business intelligence, mathematics, commerce, IT, statistics
Industry or startup experience
Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
Knowledge of project management principles and practices
Information technology skills
