PAYROLL SPECIALIST

Main Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably from Business Administration, Economics departments of universities,
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably within a multinational environment ,
• Knowledge of applicable Azerbaijan Laws and regulations and best practices regarding this field,
• Exhibits good communication skills and can work effectively at all levels, both internally and externally,
• Strong problem solving, process management  and analytical thinking skills,
• Tentative to details and can deal with ambiguity,
• Knowledge and experience of SAP (preferably),
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, English,  (preferably) good knowledge of Turkish,
• Advanced in MS Office applications.

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Prepares and executes monthly payroll,
• Manages workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely,
• Executes absenteeism processing and makes analysis of attendance rates,
• Prepares payroll related reports to Finance department and external parties, i.e. Social Insurance, Statistics, and so on.
• Process accurate and timely year-end reporting ,
• Develops ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed ,
• Executes all matters pertaining to personnel for hiring and exit process of employees and maintains and updates personnel files,
• Prepares work and residency permit documents and follows up with the legal parties
• Ensures compliance with social legislation,
• Maintains legal documentary process of order, amendment, and other required document preparation,
• Contributes in strengthening the corporate culture, values and employee engagement by creating and sustaining effective employee relations.
