JOB TITLE:   Project QA/QC Engineer

EMPLOYER:  Caspian Drilling Company Ltd.

DUTY STATION:  Azerbaijan

DEADLINE:  17.10.2014

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Further develop the Quality Management System with Quality Assurance and Technical Assurance plans and procedures which shall provide the necessary level of assurance for the reliability and operability of the New Build rig as delivered.
• Integrate wherever possible the shipyard and vendor quality management arrangements.
• Implement the ISO 9001:2008 clauses 4.2.3 and 4.2.4 for document and record control, and a process to capture and address Lessons Learned.
• Liaise with the OFE/Commissioning group to coordinate a team of vendor surveillance professionals.
• Review commissioning procedures and support the commissioning team.
• Ensure safety, environmental and legal compliance, project costs and schedules as required to deliver the New Build construction safely, on time, on spec., on budget and within corporate policy requirements.
• Maintain a positive professional work environment free of discrimination and harassment. Ensure long term results are not compromised for short-term expediency.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIECE:

• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years quality managment experience.
• 5 years shipyard construction experience.
• 5 years drilling equpment technical experience.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Read - write English language.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:

MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

LANGUAGES:

English, Azerbaijani, Russian
