POSITION: COUNSELOR
POSITION SUMMARY
The mission of ADA University Counseling Service is to enhance the well-being of students by facilitating their emotional, interpersonal, and intellectual development. We listen carefully to concerns students have about their lives and provide emotional support, impart life skills, and encourage self-reflection.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides counseling services and administrative leadership;
• Creates assessment tools and evaluates counseling initiatives;
• Develops and conducts workshops on counseling;
• Focuses on the student's concerns and offers his/her support and encouragement, developmental needs, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree ;
• Master’s degree in counseling or related field preferred;
• At least 2 years of counseling (preferably student counseling), teaching or related experience required;
• Fluency in Azeri, English and Russian.
