Cluster Containment Manager
Purpose
Accountable for the planning, design, and delivery of the cable pathways (containment) for a cluster of venues and acts to resolve containment issues.
Key accountabilities
Planning
• Conduct audits and analysis of existing scope and capacity of existing cable pathways systems at venues
• Assist with the design of secondary legacy cable pathways and temporary pathways
• Support in the development of policies and procedures related to containment services
• Develop route diagrams/ design of cable pathways to show indicative routes of all required pathways at venues
• Support the strategic Planning for the design and delivery of containment/cable pathway requirements at all venues and facilities
• Support the integration of all functional areas, with an emphasis with Broadcast, Technology, and Energy Services and their associated cable pathway requirements into the containment design and delivery.
• Maintain strong working relationships with the functional area team members, Nominated Venue Deliver Partners and Design Build Partners
• Regularly communicate, formally and informally, to the Senior Cluster Manager of Containment and Utility Services
Delivery
• Work with the Senior Cluster Manager Containment and Utility Services to ensure delivery of containment/cable pathways in accordance with agreed service levels and locations identified during the planning phase and as agreed with client groups.
• Support field solutions and implementation, when needed
• Reinforce with cable installers the need to adhere to design in order to minimize reinstatement costs.

You may also be required to carry out additional or other duties, or to transfer to another post on either a temporary or permanent basis, to meet the needs of the business.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
Experience and Knowledge
• Field Experience working with, developing and defining civil requirements is essential
• Prior construction or similar experience in Azerbaijan
• Experience in venue development or fit out would be an advantage.
• Experience in the planning and delivery of a major multi-sport event would be an advantage
• Proven project coordination experience
• Successful track record in identifying user requirements and building scope specification documentation for procurement or vendor delivery
• Successful track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams

• Exceptionally well organised with detailed planning skills/knowledge
• An ability to adapt to the developing needs and changing demands of a high pressure and high profile project
• Proven ability to make difficult decisions under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems and develop solutions
• Proven and demonstrable leadership skills
• An ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent communicator at all levels
• Strong communication skills in Azerbaijani and English (Russian would be a beneficial)
