Requirements:

• Bachelor engineering degree holder having minimum five (5) years of  Engineering safety experience of large multi-discipline and multi-national projects like Metal Construction/Heavy Engineering as a HSE Engineer;
• Experience in large multi-national company;
• Thorough knowledge of relevant International health and safety Standards
• To be proficient in relevant software's & safety implementation Procedures;
• Excellent knowledge of ISO and HSEQ management practices and risk analysis of complex systems. ;
• Strong spoken and written English;
• Good presentation, communications and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance where appropriate with the Company’s Policies and Procedures in accordance with the requirements of Quality/Occupational Health & Safety /Environmental Standards;
• Dealing with the Company’s Clients for all the HSE matters;
• Assess the implementation of the HSE Plan and HSE Control Plans;
• Allocate Quality Control Personnel to the various areas of site activity;
• Supervises Inspections, Reports and the documentation issued by Inspectors and file the required Quality Records;
• To provide support and/or execute the Internal/External Audits for sites;
• Coordinate implementation of defect renewal/ closeout following audits/inspections;
• Ensures the management of all site problems regarding HSE matters;
• Monitors the progress of quality related site activities;
• To coordinate training and awareness of HSE to site staff personnel;
• Ensures, whenever necessary, the update of site Quality Control Plans/Control Procedures.
• To  investigate the incidents, determine the root cause and develop corrective actions.
• Execute safety programs for locations and minimize company safety losses.
• Manage reports and present summaries to management with suggested solutions.
• To organize   the daily safety meetings and safety trainings.
• Handle safety assessments and deploy corrective measures to minimize hazard risk profile.
• Develop a culture to anticipate and prevent health hazardous conditions.
• Drive behaviors preventing illnesses in work places by engaging management commitment.
• Prepare procedure for safety implementation of metal-construction works.
