Position: Lifting Technical Authority 

Responsibilities:

• To assure the safety, legal compliance and quality of rigging & lifting operations within the  Project.
• To improve the quality of planning, risk assessment and execution of rigging & lifting operations.
• To establish and maintain consistent and legally compliant performance standards and technical guidance for the execution of rigging & lifting operations in the group.
• To identify and monitor safety critical elements applicable to rigging and lifting operations within the region ensuring performance against these is of a high standard.
• Management of lifting equipment certification, periodic inspection, tests and assurance including third party lifting equipment
• Provide relevant lifting and HSE input to the Method statements, project specifications and documents

Requirements:

• Be competent in the role and have a recognized lifting qualification;
• Be familiar with relevant parts of the Project Health and Safety Plan;
• Provide the planning, selection of lifting equipment, instruction and supervision necessary for task to be undertaken safely;
• 3 day Banksman and Slinger course
• 3 day Rigging and Lifting course
• EAL level 2 Portfolio
• Experience in operation and maintaining various type of lifting equipment for minimum 3-5 years.
• Must also have strong leadership skills, have a proactive attitude, and be interested in finding solutions.
• Computer literate.
• Azerbaijani native
• English intermediate or upper intermediate.
