Position: ICT Technician
Work Location: Base Office / Offshore Operations Vessel
Position Schedule: ASAP, 1 year (renewable)
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Higher technical
Work Experience: Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Languages: Azerbaijani (fluent), English (good)
Other skills/Certificates Required:
Help Desk function
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
Flexibility to work in office, remote base facilities and offshore
Responsibilities:
• Provide daily technical support and manage the technological infrastructure of yards, vessels and branch offices, including managing of IT systems and then manage servers, PCs, network devices and related equipment;
• Identify and solve daily and recurring problems, diagnose problems with higher complexity and require the intervention of specialist units to solve them;
• Identify needs for IT system for: updates, changes, upgrades;
• Be the reference point for users of the information system:
- Giving tips;
- Solving problems using the PC;
- Coordinating the intervention of specialists;
• Provide the ICT security for yards, vessels and branch offices, as required by corporate standards;
• Ensure that the satellite connectivity is working properly;
• IT Help-Desk Services provision for company employees;
• Basic maintenance of printing equipment / control of consumables stock;
• Personal computers / Laptops hardware support;
• Basic networking troubleshooting;
• Technical support to System Administrator.
