Introduction:

SOCAR Gas Operating Company is a subsidiary of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), and will operate an entity selling gas from Shah Deniz field on behalf of its partners.
SOCAR Gas Operating Company is looking for talented and committed professional for this position.

Key accountabilities:

• Preparation and quality control of financial and management reports
• Development of accounting policies and  procedures
• Design and enhancement of company's financial and management reporting in ERP based solution
• Leeson with externals and internal auditors
• Coordination of budgets and forecasts preparation process

Required skills/experience:

• Have more than 3 year of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance and Accounting discipline
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS
• International accounting qualification is preferred
• Experience in oil and gas industry is mandatory
• Experience in implementation of computerized reporting tool/ERP
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani
• Experience in big four companies is an advantage

• Ability to work both individually and in a team
• Able to handle short deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High integrity
