Position: Commercial Operator (AGSC)

Department: Gas Operations Department‎

Introduction:

SOCAR Gas Operating Company LLC is a subsidiary of SOCAR and is the operator of Azerbaijan Gas Supply Company (AGSC), which is responsible for selling gas from Shah Deniz field on behalf of its partners.
SOCAR Gas Operating Company is looking for talented and committed professional for this position.

Key accountabilities:

•         Handling buyers nominations of gas volumes or energy
•         Planning daily gas flow based on field availability and transport capacities
•         Handling instructions with regard to gas production and transport requirements
•         Prepare and issue regular gas delivery reports and invoices to counterparties

Required skills/experience:        

•         University degree in economics, business administration and/or relevant technical discipline
•         Minimum 3 years of relevant oil and gas work experience
•         Strong IT skills, good knowledge of MS Office and in particular Excel
•         Proficiency in Azeri and English
 
•         Personal qualities:              
•         Ability to work both individually and in a team
•         Ability to handle short deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously
•         Strong analytical and numerical abilities
•         High ethical awareness and integrity

Additional Information:

The Gas Operator is required to work on a rotating shiftwork schedule as part of the continuous 24-hours gas operations
