Job Title: Marketing Communications Manager

Purpose:

Responsible for managing short and long-term marketing communications and promotions, as well as manage the implementation of marketing and brand building strategies for Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel. Actively monitor, guide and support brand standards implementation, alignment and compliance within the business.

Main Duties:

• Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations;
• Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
• Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications and on the radio, depending on the campaign;
• Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters, brochures and DVDs;
• Writing and proofreading copy and press-releases;
• Liaising with designers and printers;
• Organizing photo shoots and filmings;
• Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials;
• Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions and parties;
• Sourcing and securing sponsorship;
• Conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups;
• Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
• Managing budgets;
• Evaluating marketing campaigns;
• Monitoring competitor activity;
• Supporting other colleagues and providing information of hotel activities;
• Responsible for Social Media channels;
• Creating exclusive offers for the hotel itself, F/B and Talise spa;
• Responsible for the website update;
• Distributing e-newsletters and exclusive offers via CRM;
• Organizing press-trips and press conferences.
• Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.

Role Specifications

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree level education in Marketing / Advertising / Media or equivalent.

Experience Essential

• Minimum of two years experience in international luxury hospitality sector.
• Strategic Commercial planning and execution.

Skills and Attributes 

• Fluency in Azeri/Russian or Turkish Language.
• Strong competence in understanding loyalty and customer recognition.
• Good time management and prioritising capabilities.
• Capability to deliver marketing materials in line with brand standards.
• Understanding of print management and production fundamentals.
• Technical understanding of photography, film and rich media.
• Market planning and project management skills.
• Proficiency in ROI and ROE analysis.
• Proficiency in new media, social media and digital marketing.(Desirable)
• Understanding of social networking, Facebook and Twitter.(Desirable)
• Understanding of design programmes such as the Adobe Suite.(Desirable)
• Strong proficiency on Microsoft Office
