Look Delivery Manager
Purpose
To oversee the delivery of the Look of the Games into all competition and non-competition venues at the Baku 2015 European Games. The role will principally involve creating and overseeing suitable processes for delivery with third party suppliers.
Key accountabilities
• Manage Look supplier through print and production process
• Oversee the production of bespoke Look assets
• Devise robust contingency and back-up systems for breakdown of print and manufacturing machines
• Carry out all necessary tests on wind loading suitability, health and safety compliance and installation methodology for all Look assets
• Manage the quality and consistency of print and materials across all deliverables
• Work with supplier to create an efficient coding system for Look assets
• To oversee the procurement of a venue Look delivery warehouse managing warehouse storage and logistics system to ensure timely and accurate delivery of undamaged Look assets
• Work with the supplier to create a robust Look venue transport and logistics schedule and ensure its adhered to
• Carry out pre-installation site visits with Look Venue Project Managers to determine best practice installation solutions and materials
• Oversee suppliers to assure the integrity of the Baku 2015 brand across all venues
Ensure all venues are repatriated to original state, disposing of Look assets as agreed. Report any issues to Venues Look team
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• Experience working in Games ‘Look’ operations and delivery is essential
• Successful track record of delivering large multi-venue print, production and installation on time and on budget
• Strong knowledge of brand principles
• Experience of operating in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines
• Exceptional planning skills
• Experience managing external suppliers and contracts
• Proven ability to make difficult decisions under pressure
• Ability to negotiate and influence key decision makers
• Ability to adapt to the developing needs and changing demands of a high pressure and high profile projects
• Fluent in English, the principle language of Baku 2015 European Games
• PC literate: knowledge of Microsoft applications, with the ability to produce documents to a high standard of presentation
