Web Manager
Purpose
The role of the Web Manager is to define the scope of the website part of Baku2015.com Digital & Social strategy, to manage its development and its operations, while working closely with the other Managers responsible for Mobile, Social and Editorial matters.
Key accountabilities
• With Head of D&S, refine the Web strategy to reach overarching audiences, markets and goals. Proactively propose ideas, concepts and products to do so.
• Define and manage the overall Games site map, structure and functionalities.
• Manage the working relationship with the various parties involved in the delivery of this website
• Manage the day to day operations of the Pre Games website (currently online) by establishing clear and efficient processes with the current agency through
• Gather and analyse requirements from BEGOC functions and other stakeholders reg. web presence for Games Time
• Manage the different projects related to web development
• Coordinate with the D&S Project Manager and other Managers to ensure timely completion of all tasks and issue identification
• Demonstrates flexibility and takes responsibility for getting things done and involves others as appropriate.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• Proven experience with developing and managing websites (back and front end)
• Extensive Web culture: be up to date with ongoing web design, functional and technology development.
• Proficient English (Azerbaijani would be a plus)
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Visio, proven experience with CMS
• Well-organised and capable to constantly meet deadlines.
• Capable to work very efficiently under intense stress.
• Experience in Event related Digital work would be a plus
