Position:

Leading (Chief) Financial Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement various fiscal procedures and policies and ensure achievement of all objectives
• Evaluate and prepare reports for authorization and budget formulation
• Administer effective budget execution, perform audit on fund usage and maintain internal controls
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and laws in case of incurred obligations and resulting expenditure
• Prepare budget estimates, justify all estimates and prepare presentation
• Prepare and administer Cost Planning/Cost Engineering actions
• Oversee and track Cash flow operations
• Prepare Financial Reporting documents
• Perform as a Financial Analyst, produce Financial Forecasting Statements
• Project asset monitoring
• Prepare payment certificates/letters
• Checking of supplier invoices conformance with valid agreements/POs
• Payroll calculation

Competencies required:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
• 5 years experience in relevant position
• Understanding and knowledge of IFRS
• Good knowledge of Budgeting, Financial Analysis, Financial Forecasting, Cost Planning/Cost Engineering
• Report writing skills
• Good knowledge of Labor Code and Tax laws
• Fluent in Russian, Azerbaijan and English
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Understanding of Corporate management systems like SAP, Oracle
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
