Position: HSE Training Coordinator
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Higher education
Work Experience: 5 years’ or more experience in a similar role within Oil and Gas Industry
Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent).
• Experience in delivering HSE training courses. Capability to prepare and conduct induction and
• HSE training courses;
• Capability to identify training needs and to organize training programs;
• Knowledge of local HSE legislation and main technical rules with focus especially on safety issues;
• Knowledge of main important international standards on HSE management system (e.g. ISO 14001 OHSAS 18001);
• Knowledge of electrical safety, lifting operations, mechanical construction and civil works, working at height etc.
• Knowledge of main techniques and methodologies for hazards identification, occupational risk
• assessment and evaluation;
• Good communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
• Proven track record in developing and delivering HSE training packages;
• Ability with computer skills to achieve above i.e. Power Point etc;
• Setting HSE annual/ periodic training plan according to the organization's HSE requirements, in coordination with the Project HSE Manager, concerned business unit and the training department;
• Capability of maintaining training records which can be interrogated to provide different readouts i.e. type of training, attendees, date, pass/fail etc;
• Capability to evaluate the training efficiency by analyzing outcome and recommend improvements;
• Summarizing the related training results and delivering the HSE related activities results statically;
• Preparing periodic reports with respect to the training activities and achievements to be submitted to the Project HSE Manager for review;
• Coordinating with training department and concerned department(s) concerning training plan/ venue/ attendees...etc;
• Providing coordination with training agencies and suppliers concerning HSE issues and materials;
• Particular knowledge of International best practices regarding HSE i.e. Hazard Assessment, Confined Space, Working at Height, -Permit to Work and induction programmes etc;
• Capable of conducting HSE training needs analysis against particular scope of work;
• General understanding of main international standards of an HSE management system (e.g. ISO14001 OHSAS 18001);
• General knowledge of hazard and risks related to lifting operations (mandatory periodical control, lifting plans, etc;
• General knowledge of mechanical construction techniques;
• General knowledge of offshore construction and installation methodologies;
• General knowledge of working at height hazard (best practice, work equipment, safety measures);
• Knowledge of main techniques and methodologies for hazards identification, occupational risk assessment and evaluation (E.g. Risk assessment, likelihood and Severity evaluation, JSA).
