Front Office Manager / Ön Ofis Meneceri

Front office Department is the first and last impression that a guest has of the hotel, so it's the Front Office Manager job to ensure it's a good one. Top of the list of responsibilities is to make sure the receptionists on the front desk are well-trained, friendly and offer a warm welcome and speedy, efficient check-in and check-out service for guests.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Ensuring the front desk provides a professional and friendly service for customers
•  Dealing with customers, including handling complaints when they come to the desk
•  Managing and training the concierge, night auditor and team of receptionists
•  Responsible to balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
• Responsible for ensuring consistency in exceeding guest service expectations
• Reviews arrival reports and VIP’s to ensure all special requirements are met or exceeded
• Maximizes rooms revenue through implementing and supporting agreed upon Revenue Management strategies and practices
• Oversees group business, reviewing and ensuring details of conference resumes are met and serve as a liaison with the conference conveners
• Effectively maximizes inventory levels during high occupancy/sold out nights
• Cover Duty Manager shifts as required
• Troubleshooting emergencies
• Scheduling your staff rota
• Liaising with other departments

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Minimum 2 years' previous management experience in Front Office operations
• Proven ability to guide and coach team members
• Good Communication in English and Azerbaijani; knowledge fo Turkish or Russian is an asset
• An operational knowledge and proficiency in Property Management System (Micros-Fidelio)
• Good telephone skills
• Diplomacy and communication skills to handle any complaints and emergencies in a level-headed manner
• The ability to multitask and manage your time
• No fear of decision-making
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset
